Combining moments of dream catchy ambience with rich melodies and driving house, the mix is a powerful, highly effective sound-pimped listen trimmed with vocal loops, as well as wooshes, swirls and fx's which will make the heart of any electronic fan leap with joy.
I hope it sounds like the soundtrack to a Tarantino film set in the past.
Opener, Unfolding, sets us up nicely, building slowly but surely, before erupting into a crescendo of wondrous noise. Further in, the track Tarantino Original Mix by Wubson, Julian Desslertrack is a melodic bomb touched up by voice, gentle guitar riffs and a touchy house synth which immediately works its way under the skin, while meditation allows the listener to grab a quick breath before Frost Raven - Hall of Kings entices with its heavy beats. Other picks include the gentle undulations of Nicola Cruz with Cumbia del Olvido, and the Followers Original Mix by Xhevat Coil forming chemistry of listeners and taking them out on a high.
The production madness kicks in and changes direction up from “WASTED SPACE (Original Mix)” from Kayzo, Underoath where I attempt to remind us that rock and dubstep work together well; the ‘with Friends in the park’ mix has smatterings of dubstep, rock, future house, nu-disco, guitar licks, tough beats, hypnotic tones, forlorn synths and thunder crashes; I hope it sounds like the soundtrack to a Tarantino film set in the past.
