‘binary house mates’ Snippets of my last live set a collective house music mix that delivers plenty of new thrills and these wacky, after party joins. Floats through the motions of pumped melodies and crackly, archive textures, while pulsing along with flashes of percussive texture and moody bass tones.

The crunchy hydraulics and bleepy overtures of bone-rattling opening track is a good entry point to my thinking here, although it’s the brooding, hip hop and low-key of the following track that really sets the wipe of the mix. Laced with pitched-up sino melodies and purpley synths that cut through the noisy bass sounds, it packs a hell of a punch of great artists and manages to keep you on edge for the duration. More wild bass abstraction is the flavour of the day at the end of the mix of conventional club dynamics.
